The Know Figure
one of my latest pieces 2013. is based on a sculpture not up on the site yet
This piece came from an idea I had first. I designed a sculpture called
"The Three Figures of Yes" And I said to myself "I have a Yes, now I need a No"
and I didn't want to do a No Figure Sculpture, so I came up with a "Know Figure"
it was perfect, I had Yes and now I have a Know. It was a simple concept
Yes and Know,
not No, but Know
To Know is to Know
I know you Know
don't cha know
is this clever
I Know it is
and I Know you Know too
It's a word play
a thinking piece
a contemplation of letters
a sculptural story
a brain teaser
a musical note
this speaks poetry
as it rolls off the tongue
I know you Know
does one really know
do I have self doubt
can I say categorically
I know for Sure
Hell, I don't know anything
I am making it up as I go
don't cha know

is this an east coast expression
in triplicate
I think it is the other Know
