This is a wonderful and fun piece of art
It is a little edgy, part of the Profane series
I am at a point in my life using words or letters
as sculptural forms, as a way to build figurative
abstract sculpture. The words can be loaded, full
of cliche, or just innocent forms, for a very attractive
figurative sculpture, in my opinion, as I make these things.
With Words and letters, there is poetry, and a musicality
I like titles, for that purpose, you can imagine everything
anyway. The story of the artworks unfolds, as you whisper
them under your breath, As you sing and sound them thru.
as you mull them over, it grabs you because it is so
simple and funny, the theater of the absurd,
How could it not be, with a piece like a figure jogging
in the shape of letters that say AssHole.
This is a brilliant sculpture, never been done, a
masterpiece of wit. A beautiful sculpture,
elegant, with poise, and movement,
okay the word AssHole conjures up a lot of shit
i know, I am sorry I had to say shit, could help myself
This piece's shear beauty, it has so many levels,
that it plays upon. This alphabayic series, that has
taken ahold, could be an endless chasm, for words
are the building blocks of communication. What as
an artist is their mission, to communicate, a viewpoint
of a individual, a people, a culture, a universe with
lots of unknown entities. sharing insights, but will
it be heard above the din of the mundane, does
one have to grandstand, and shout about the world
look at me! look at me! do care about me, look who
I am. I am a somebody that has something to say.
even if it is not that important, how can a figure
that say AssHole be very relevant, and be above the din
It's a perfect piece for the times, lots of assholes
out there, even me once in awhile. This is a fabulous
piece if you really think about it. so deep, so simple,
so expressive, so fun, so amusing, full of wonder.
This is an old story told anew, with a fresh eye,
with humor, that gets beneath the belly, all the
bullshit in life, this is a trip of melancholy, because
there are so many assholes out there. nice people
too. you know what I mean. The Profane series
I feel, probably is one of the most important
concepts, i have developed so far, it is so charged
with emotions, and so universal, since everyone
has felt that way sometime, not possible, not to,
on this plane of existence. I Found a designer
style that goes thru the back door of consciousness
and then bites you in your arse. To late to run, I guess
you just got to smile and laugh. The healing has begun.
get this collection now!!! its important, add a little
humor to your life, firing neuron after neuron.
This is real art,
as the bonus,
not some sarcastic
commentary on the faults of all the crap people
do to themselves and each other.
Truly, you can see the Love hanging around
and shimmering like a star that flashes your name.
