Truth . Justice . and The American Way
This is my Pop Art tribute,
and a statement of the condition
of the times, which haven't changed much
for better or worse
just a continuation of more bullshit
of the American Century
built on the idea the
American the Great,
the ultimate War and the Best
Killing Machine the world has seen
Home and Abroad
I guess it has to be that way
We need a SuperMan to send
Peace and Love
(another collection available) to all, but is that
possible with all the hate around
maybe so in 10,000 years, if we make it.
So "The American Way Figure"
a beautiful sculpture, part of the
Alphabeyic series, using letters as
sculptural forms to create figures
that represent concepts, that pertain
to my life experiences, that are relevant
to current events, as archetypal
to human progress, as a culture.
and entertainment for me
so I don't get so depressed from
all the chaos of modern society
even though there is a lot of beauty
also. but it seems the chaos sells
better, it makes a better story
as the superhero conquers and overcomes
all adversity.
So Truth and Justice is The American Way
only for the few at the top
of the food chain
the rest can eat cake
and rot in the turmoil of the
cold and lonely heart of the system.

real art, not cynical or pandering
done with love of the spirit and
potential we all are capable of
lets make America great again.
A great country built on hate and death
did they change the history books yet?
Just so you know, it ain't any different

not incite negative outcomes, because
no one is listening, and the forces
that be, do what they want anyway
