Originally this Figure was another
cross form as a figure, relatively a flat
sculpture. Positive and negative forms
creating a beautiful texture to the eye
kinda of Celtic, in a way
became a Hashtag Figure symbol now that its 2016
I do Love the simplicity, double parallel lines
the square in the center. an excellent sculpture
on many levels. this piece was the predecessor
for the Menorah Fish,
Jesus was a fisher of men(fisherman),
Jesus was a Jew (Menorah)
actually I like crosses, not that is the symbol
of Christianity, but as the original Pagan
concept of Man and Animal, it's unity and
it's journey along with human development
together evolving as spiritual beings
Man has a vertical spine, animal has a
horizontal spine, thus the cross
symbol of man and animal, as part of the
sacred whole. which gets me
to thinking, why do we have to treat animals
so poorly, these are sacred beings who give
their life force up for us. a little respect
here, they are also on the path for higher evolution
just think of your pets, for a moment
you know their personalities, and the love
you bestow on them.
as I said "great piece of sculpture"
