one time of another, or just don't forget

#MeToo Figure bronze 2017
Inspired by current events,
capturing a moment in time,
and being a little cynical
with everything that's going on:
fake news, war, terrorism,
people abusing each other, the
general awfulness of government
as a reality TV show, as the best circus-
I mean Show on Earth.
I was doodling around and
low and behold a #MeToo figure popped out
capturing this moment in time.
The #MeToo Figure
is mostly about the specific events of
men dominating women. Now finally,
women aren't going to take it anymore.
One can only hope there is a little progress
in that direction. We are still a war-like culture,
so I think until we change that type of thinking
nothings going to change. Maybe the feminine
culture of Love, Nurturing, and Sharing
is around the corner, for the world to become
a softer place maybe in a 1000 years- at least there is
hope in our future. The "MeToo Figure" is also about
all of us who have been abused in any way-
emotionally as well as physically, and I guess
most of us fit into that category.
The MeToo figure also represents the human race.
God was the first abuser, kicking us out of the
Garden of Eden for eating a lousy Apple -go figure.
I sure hope it was a tasty apple, for knowledge is
a powerful thing and we're paying a high price
for that original sin--
so do you hear that God? "MeToo" !
